Emily and John met through a series of serendipitous events. When they knew it was love, they excitedly planned a big Wedding Mass at St. Monica’s in Edmond, followed by a reception at the Skirvin. Then, Coronavirus hit, and they had to postpone the big ceremony and reception for the following January.

Rather than waiting that long to get married, Emily and John had a perfectly intimate Mass on June 6th with their families instead! Then, to make the most of the day, we headed over to the Boathouse District for a few newlywed portraits. I love capturing intimate weddings, and this was no exception! Their day was all things beautiful, joyful, and focused.
