Claire and Brian are two of the kindest, most joyful people I know. And I don’t say that lightly. Claire is so full of life, always laughing and enjoying her surroundings. Brian is attentive, and gentle, always giggling with Claire. They first met while attending the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, but it wasn’t until after college that they began dating. They had spent some time together during college in the same friend group. However, it was at a networking event for young professionals that they connected in a way that intrigued them to pursue each other romantically.

The Engagement Session

We were so excited to get to do something a little different during their engagement session. We got to film a documentary “Love Story” with them both sharing how they met, and how Brian proposed (so I won’t share too much more of their story here!). This is a video option we are offering for add-on with our video collections, and these two were our first couple to do this! (Be sure to check it out at the bottom of this post!)

For their engagement session, we stayed in the downtown OKC area, starting at Automobile Alley. The couple loves coffee, so after Automobile Alley we headed over to Leaf + Bean. They live in Houston, but Oklahoma is home for Claire – so we wanted a city feel for their engagement session. Something reflective of their current lifestyle.

 

We also had the opportunity to do videography for Claire and Brian’s wedding. You’ll be able to find their highlight film in our Portfolio! This was such a special thing for us, because besides these two being awesome people, Claire is also my cousin (Danielle). To get to be involved so closely in the leading up to her wedding was such an honor. Some very fond memories were made creating their video.
