I have had my eye on the Sparrow in Stillwater, Oklahoma since it first opened. There’s something so charming about it. When you drive up it’s street you will drive through wooded trees, to a large open space containing the venue space. The views are spectacular, and the venue itself is designed with a very modern barn meets ballroom with some Joanna Gaines thrown in.

Laci and Robert had a Sparrow wedding filled with so many beautiful details and an amazing lineup of vendors. I had the opportunity to be a part of photographing  the wedding of this while attending a wedding workshop with Brandon Burton Photography.

An aspect of this day that instantly stuck out to me was Laci’s relationship with her father. There was no denying these two have a special relationship. From their first look with each other, to their dance that ended with a game of catch (softball with gloves) between the two. The sweetness doesn’t end there though. During the reception the bride had a special dance planned. Her parents never had a first dance. So, this special dance was an exclusive dance for them. The couple spent the remainder of the evening celebrating with their loved ones, dancing, eating, and drinking.
