Have you ever been to Eureka Springs? There are these quaint tree house homes one can stay in, complete with bridges within the trees leading you to the home. When I first saw Merrick Hollow I immediately felt like I was in Eureka Springs.
When you arrive, you’ll follow the winding bridge to the venue, and as you’re walking it you’re surrounded by beautiful wooded scenery on all sides, and twinkle lights guiding the way. The bridge is 360 feet long, but there is an alternate entrance/exit for guests that are not able to easily walk that distance.
The venue itself is a beautiful building reminiscent of a lodge, with modern, elegant touches. When you first walk in you’ll see a large tree coming out of the floor and going all the way to the roof — it’s an artistic touch to the otherwise “blank canvas”. The indoor space can house indoor ceremonies and receptions, however there is an outdoor space as well for ceremonies. The Bridal Suite and Groom’s Suite are perfections. They are bright white and the perfect amount of space.
The Bridal Suite is a bit of an oasis, with a beautiful free standing tub positioned under a gorgeous chandelier and large statement window. Before jumping into the day, that spot is perfect for the bride to enjoy a nice soak and mimosa.
The venue can accommodate up to 170 people for banquet style seating, and tables and chairs are available on site. For more information on the venue and booking, go to: www.merrickhollow.com
